ME3 Tali Zorah Vas' Normandy Concept Sketch

Hey all! So with much anticipation for Mass Effect 3's upcoming release date I've been feeling a bit, well let's say I've been itching to create a new fitting version of Tali for my own self satisfaction.

So this sketch is the black and white first draft. I'll be continuing into the computer to digitally paint and color it up soon. With the impending reaper invasion, I've decided to make her attire and gear a bit more rugged and worn. I mean face it, Tali is a beauty, but it's a dangerous new world for the new setting. So she'll be needing something a bit more on par with Commander Shepard's N7 armor.

So her new gear includes bits and pieces of Cerberus N7 armor. Rather than create a full suit for her, I figured that her hatred for the Cerberus organization would keep her from wearing a full suit. So it's been modified and pieced by her mechanically inclined hand to better suit the Quarian race. Her shotgun is now shoulder mounted for easy access, and she has various ammunition pouches with a new chest rig. I'm a fan of tactical apparatuses, and we see a lot of straps and buckles in Tali's attire, so I thought it fit. She also now carries a bag on her backside to store any parts she might want to bring on missions, or for some extra space should she pick up and scavenge anything while out in the field. Her visor now has a new addition as well. This new set of goggles adds to her already impressive heads up display, and certainly creates a special operations look about her. A few more changes have been made as well, including making her mask a bit sleaker, and extending her hood into a partial capelet.
